I found this amazing piece of bookshelf magic on Apartment Therapy.  It’s a concept piece by artist Ron Arad that is on display at the Timothy Taylor Gallery.  Unfortunately this piece is not in production.  I think instead of filling each shelf with only books I’d think of clever little knick-knacks to put into each respective state.  I would leave Idaho empty because I’m convinced there’s nothing there.

Dear Dallas Clayton,

Thank you for the simplicity and honesty.

Found this short film on yayeveryday.  It’s a great story and done pretty well.  The story will just make you smile.  It’s a little long but totally worth it.

(also go check out yayeveryday.com, it’s  a really fun site and a great way to spend the time you’re supposed to be “working.”)

Enjoy!

ALL THAT GLITTERS ISN’T GOLD Is a new art print exhibition by your friend and mine Brian Gibb. Brian co founded Art Prostitute back in 2003 and ever since then he’s been running the their gallery and still finding time to create and publish lots of great work.

ALL THAT GLITTERS ISN’T GOLD is such a great concept that explores the fine line between “memory and nostalgia, culture and dichotomous relationships observed by the artist.” I’m really excited about this exhibition.

The Artist Reception is next Thursday, October 16th, 2008 (8-10pm) inside the Magnolia Theatre in the West Village. The Exhibition will be running through November. Do yourself a favor and make it a point to swing by.

Luke emailed this link to me. This is such an incredible comic by Phil McAndrew. The story is pretty effing good.

Enjoy!

I found these pictures on one of my favorites sites, omgposters.com. Denver isn’t popular for it’s street art but these pieces are pretty radical! Another great site to check out for more coverage on these photos: The Denver Egotist. (i highly recommend browsing this site.

Enjoy!

This one is my personal favorite!
