State Fair of Texas 2008

21 Oct

We spent most of the day Sunday at the State Fair of Texas. It was probably one of the best Sundays I’ve had in a while.

Enjoy!

The Way Of The Gun

Shooting At Local Walmart …

17 Oct

Tuesday’s are slowly becoming one of my favorite days of the week. Last Tuesday Johnny, Layla, Ruiz and I decided we needed some pizza and a BB Gun. God Damnit I love Walmart.

(I brought 2 cameras with me on our adventure. My Konica and my Minolta advanitx. I labeled the photos respectively.)

Enjoy!

Pizza was a priority.

Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

14 Oct

The Declaration of Human Rights is a declaration that was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on December 10th, 1948. The Guinness Book of Records describes the UDHR as the “Most Translated Document” in the world. The UDHR represents the first global expression of rights to which all human beings are inherently entitled.

Originally written by Eleanor Roosevelt 60 years ago, it’s astonishing that less than five percent of the world even knows that the document exists. The message rings particularly true now.

The Collectors

Kids Do the Darndest Things (On Youtube.)

9 Oct

Without sounding like a big ol’ creepy creeper, my favorite viral videos on the YouTube now a days usually involve children. “Charlie Bit Me,” (which now has over 54 million views!) “Creepy Laughing Baby,” “Kassie Kicks Monsters Ass,” “Bloooooooood!” and my new favorite “Little Girl Remix,” are effing hilarious to me. I would be so stoked if my parents had footage of me saying random shit, that only children can think of. Unfortunately the only footage of my brothers and I as children requires a Beta Max Player to view.

These darling young entertainers aren’t the only minors getting the spotlight. If you’re caught off guard, funny, or even embarrassing enough then your YouTube views are going to go through the roof. I’m almost kind of glad web-cams didn’t exist when i was going through middle school. I’d hate for someone to have footage (video below,) of me doing something as embarrassing as singing to top 50’s in my room, (which I did.)

Just wait for the water sprinkler inspired move. It’s my favorite.

Enjoy!
